a) During the visit of this website

When you access our website under the domain koehler.legal information is automatically sent to the server of our website by the browser used on your end device. This information is temporarily stored in aso-called log file. The following information is recorded without your intervention and stored until it is automatically deleted.

b) Contact form on the website

There is a contact form on the website which you can use for sending mean electronic message. If you use the contact form, the data entered in the corresponding input mask will be transmitted to me and stored. The corresponding data categories are name, e-mail address, message and, if applicable, telephone number. In addition, the IP address, date and time will be transmitted and stored at the time of using the contact form. The legal basis for the data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. b or f GDPR.

c) Professional networks / platforms (LinkedIn.com)

For the purpose of professional presentation, a profile page is maintained on the LinkedIn.com platform. The use of the LinkedIn.com platform and the profile page stored there is subject to the terms of use and the associated data protection declaration of the operator there. There is no further collection or linking of data provided by us to LinkedIn.com.

  • this is legally permissible and, in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. b GDPR, required for the processing of contractual relationships with you.

Rights of data subjects

You have the right to:

  • request information about your personal data processed by us inaccordance with Art. 15 GDPR. In particular, you may request information on thepurposes of processing, the category of personal data, the categories ofrecipients to whom your data has been or will be disclosed, the planned storageperiod, the existence of a right of rectification, cancellation, restriction ofprocessing or opposition, the existence of a right of objection, the origin ofyour data, if not collected by us, as well as the existence of automateddecision making including profiling and, if applicable, meaningful informationon its details;
  • immediately request the correction of incorrect or incomplete personal data stored by us in accordance with Art. 16 GDPR;
  • demand in accordance with Art. 17 GDPR the deletion of your personal data stored with us, unless the processing is necessary to exercise the right to freedom of expression and information, to fulfil a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest or to assert, exercise or defend legal claims;
  • demand pursuant to Art. 18 GDPR the restriction of the processing of your personal data if the accuracy of the data is disputed by you, if the processing is unlawful but you refuse to delete it and we no longer require thedata, but you require it for the assertion, exercise or defence of legal claims or you have lodged an objection to the processing pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR;
  • receive your personal data that you have provided us with in a structured, common and machine-readable format or torequest its transfer to another responsible data processor in accordance with Art. 20 GDPR;
  • revoke your once given consent to us at any time in accordance with Art. 7 para. 3 GDPR. As a result, I am no longer allowed to continue the data processing that was based on this consent in the future, and
  • to complain to a supervisory authority in accordance with Art. 77 GDPR. As a rule, you can turn to the supervisory authority of your usual place ofresidence or workplace or to our office. Right of objection

In the latter case, you have a general right of objection, which will be implemented by us withoutspecifying a special situation.

Data security

We use the common SSL (Secure Socket Layer) procedure within the website visit in connection with the highest encryption level supported by your browser. Usually this is a 256-bit encryption. If your browser does not support 256-bit encryption, we use 128-bit v3 technology instead. You can tell whether an individual page of our websiteis being transmitted in encrypted form by the closed display of the key or lock symbol in the lower status bar of your browser.
